Our History

AWT Consulting Engineers was established in 2000 to provide specialist structural engineering services on a variety of major building projects to key Clients, in the Canberra region.

It has since expanded and opened a Sydney office in 2005 to provide structural engineering services to projects/client in Melbourne, Canberra, Sydney, Gold Coast, Brisbane, Maroochydoore, Bundaberg and surrounding regions.

Recently AWT has undertaken major projects such as the $200M redevelopment of the Canberra Centre for QIC and are the structural engineers on the ongoing $600M Brindabella Business Park for Capital Airport Group

Current projects incude the $110M DOHA building at Woden for the Doma
Group as well as the $80M buiding for DEST at Canberra City for Walker
Corporation

Future projects that AWT has secured which are due to commence shortly
are the $400M Redevelopment for Section 63 that was purchased by
Leightons and Mirvac in a joint venture to develop and revitalise this landmark
site adjacent to City Hill and the $250M redevelopment of the Canberra
Airport Terminal.
